Contracted or non-contracted: what does it mean?

Being contracted means charging the fixed INAMI fees in exchange for, among other things, the social status allowance of up to €3,853.04 a year. Being non-contracted means setting your own fees, but your regular insured patients get 25 percent less reimbursed.

Since 1 January 2026, physiotherapy fees in Belgium have been indexed by 2.72%. A standard session costs €31.64 at the practice and €34.81 at home: here is the complete overview, including the patient co-payment.
